4x4 Management
 4x4 Management formed on 30 years of Land Rover experience, both as an enthusiast and as an independent dealer. In 1996 two colleagues (both owning Range Rovers with ailing rear tailgates) designed, manufactured and began marketing an aluminium Upper Tailgate.
Although a number of developments by other Land Rover Independent Specialists were around in the 1990s; these fell by the wayside, for various reasons, from poor quality to lack of interest. We believe we are now the only Company still manufacturing and supplying a fully aluminium top tailgate. These are primarily distributed through ourselves and a major UK distributor of quality Land Rover parts, Allmakes 4x4.
4x4 Management started to trade in Oxfordshire during 1998, developing and evolving the tailgate to what it is today. It has remained a small and dedicated operation dealing in all aspects of the Land Rover industry ever since. In 2001 the operation was moved to north Nottinghamshire where more focus was placed onto the manufacture and marketing of the Range Rover Classic aluminium Upper Tailgate.
It was here Dave met his new partner Chris, who has since joined him in running 4x4 Management. The Company has widened its product range to cover most Land Rover product parts, and also deals in new surplus Land Rover parts. The primary trading methods are Mail Order and we are now entering the Internet market. Personal callers are welcome, but by prior appointment only.
To complement the business 4x4 Management has added a range of internal window security bars, this being called for by a fair number of owner/enthusiasts that have been robbed of their tools and equipment from garages and workshops. This security bar system is designed and manufactured as standard sized pieces that can be cut down to the exact size by the customer. It is a do-it-yourself product. They are marketed under the IBARS trade name.
